ISO 9001 Certification in Angola

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management, and it is increasingly the entry condition for tenders, for supplying large operators and for exporting. Angola Global Hub prepares your company to achieve it: we carry out the diagnosis, correct the gaps and leave the organisation ready for the audit. Certification is then issued by DQS, independently.

What the standard requires

ISO 9001 requires the company to understand its context and interested parties, define quality policy and objectives, map and control its processes, manage risks and opportunities, maintain essential documented information, and demonstrate improvement through internal audits and management review. It does not demand bureaucracy; it demands real control.

What AGH does for you

Our service is preparation, from start to finish. We carry out the internal audit and the gap diagnosis against the standard, structure and produce the manuals and procedures, train your team and conduct the final internal audit, until the company is ready to be certified. This is the work AGH delivers and for which it charges fees.

What DQS does

Certification itself is carried out by DQS, an accredited international certification body, through a two-stage audit, and it is DQS that issues and charges for the certificate. The independence between the party that prepares and the party that certifies is what gives the certificate its value. AGH is DQS's exclusive Channel Partner in Angola, which links your local preparation to a certificate recognised worldwide.

How long it takes

For a small or medium company starting from scratch, a typical journey runs from four to eight months, depending on the maturity of the processes, the number of sites and the availability of the team. The diagnosis measures that distance from the outset and sets the timetable.

How much it costs

There are two separate costs: AGH's fees for preparation, and the certification audit, contracted and paid to DQS. Both depend on size, number of sites and scope, and are set following the free diagnosis. There is no price list.

The 2026 revision

The new version, ISO 9001:2026, is scheduled for publication in September 2026 and brings a clearer separation between risks and opportunities, the integration of climate change and sustainability, a more explicit alignment of quality with strategy, and attention to quality culture and the supply chain. We are already preparing companies with this revision in view, so they do not certify today what they would have to redo tomorrow.

Frequently asked questions

No. Certification is the end of the journey. It begins with the diagnosis.
