Cookie Policy

Angola Global Hub (AGH) uses cookies and similar technologies to improve the user experience, ensure the platform works correctly, and understand how visitors interact with content. This Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them and how users can manage their preferences. The use of cookies observes the applicable law of the Republic of Angola, including the principles of Law no. 22/11, of 17 June (Personal Data Protection Law), where applicable.

Cookies are small information files stored on the user's device when visiting a website. They allow the device to be recognised and information about navigation to be remembered, providing a more efficient experience. They may collect technical information but do not directly identify a person without additional information.

3.1 Essential and functional storage (no consent needed): remembers your cookie choice and, when you start a questionnaire, your answers for that browser session. It also remembers your language if you change it with the PT/EN selector, and the sign-in session for the restricted administration area.

3.2 Analytics and campaign-attribution storage (only after you accept): Google Analytics and the recording of the campaign, referring site and landing page start only after you choose “Accept”. Nothing analytics-related is loaded, sent or stored before that choice, and nothing you did before is sent afterwards.

3.3 Marketing cookies: this website does not use advertising or marketing cookies.

If no Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, analytics remains inactive even after you accept.

How long your choice lasts: your choice is kept for six months. When it expires, we show the notice again, analytics stays off until you accept again, and Google Analytics cookies and optional campaign-attribution storage are deleted. Questionnaire progress and your language preference are not removed by declining or by expiry.

Fonts: the website's fonts are served from our own domain and do not require any request to Google Fonts. They are not cookies.

• agh.cookie-consent.v1 (local storage, first-party, essential): your choice (“accepted” or “essential”) and the date of the choice. No identifier. Valid for six months from the date of the choice; after that we ask again.
• agh_assessment_<journey> (session storage, first-party, functional): answers to a questionnaire you started, without contact details. Created when you answer the first question; deleted after a successful submission or when you close the browser.
• agh_lang (local storage, first-party, functional): “pt” or “en”, created only if you use the language selector.
• agh_attribution (session storage, first-party, optional): campaign parameters, referring site and landing page. Created only after you accept; deleted when you decline or close the browser.
• _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics cookies, optional): set by Google only after you accept and if analytics is configured; deleted when you withdraw consent.

Some cookies may be set by external services (traffic analytics tools, communication platforms, embedded video or content, digital marketing tools). AGH does not directly control these cookies; please consult their respective privacy policies.

You can accept or decline analytics in the cookie notice and change your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer of every page. Declining does not prevent navigation, forms or questionnaires. When you withdraw consent, future measurement stops and accessible Google Analytics cookies and optional campaign-attribution storage are deleted; requests you have already sent and an ongoing questionnaire are kept. You can also delete data through your browser settings.

AGH may update this Policy whenever necessary (legal, technological or functional changes). The updated version will be available on the website with the date of the latest update.
