ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard that attests to the technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories. An accredited laboratory produces results that are recognised, both inside and outside the country, which is decisive for supporting exports, quality control and inspection. AGH prepares your laboratory for accreditation.
Unlike management-system certifications, ISO/IEC 17025 is an accreditation, granted by a competent accreditation body, not a certification. AGH's role is preparation: we leave the laboratory ready for the accreditation assessment.
Staff competence, control of equipment and calibrations, method validation, metrological traceability, sample handling, assurance of the quality of results, and management of impartiality and confidentiality.
We carry out the diagnosis against the standard, support method validation and equipment control, produce the documentation and procedures, train the team and conduct the internal audit, until the laboratory is ready for the accreditation assessment.
A typical journey runs from six to twelve months, depending on the number and complexity of the methods to be accredited and the laboratory's initial state.
AGH's fees for preparation, and the accreditation body's assessment, are set following the free diagnosis. The version in force is ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
